Profile:
Fahim AL Mustafiz maintains a broad litigation and advisory practice. A substantial part of his work lies in litigation before the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, extending across writ, company, commercial and revenue matters.
He also undertakes corporate and commercial advisory work, advising on transactions, governance and regulatory compliance, and settling banking and commercial documentation. He acts in both domestic and international arbitration.
His practice further includes conducting civil and criminal proceedings before the district courts, together with intellectual property work at the national and international level, encompassing trademark registration and the litigation of trademark disputes.
His contributions to the wider development of the law include work on law reform, of which his proposals on the draft Competition (Amendment) Bill 2025 are one instance.
He remains closely engaged with legal education. He lectures students of the University of London and the University of the West of England (Bristol). He also sits as a judge in moot court and mock trial competitions and assesses submissions for a student law review.
